Vancouver Island Autistic Homes Society was formed as a nonprofit society in 1986, in response to the need for residential, vocational, and community support services for people with autism.

VIAH's goals are to enable people with autism to live independently of their families as adults, develop their potential, experience a life-long staple environment & lead productive lives.

We believe these goals can best be achieved in an envorinment which:

VIAH's programs permit users to follow patterns and experience conditions of everyday life thatare as similar as possible to those experienced by the mainstream of society.
